I do talks for events on the subjects i work with, i consult movie productions and help source/build/restore props and i offer team-building events filled with nostalgia and nerdy stuff, if you have another idea for a project where i'll fit in do let me know.
If the project is open source, being filmed and made public available, gives me the opportunity to promote my own book/youtube channel or is for a good cause i will usually offer a discounted price.
I spent a lot of unpaid hours aquiring the knowledge i put on display here, so when i am being asked to participate in a commercial project i will charge accordingly. Which is why my prices will be the same as when i work as an IT Consultant in my own business. Expect around 175€/hour for any project below 50 hours.
Regarding equipment rental, most of what i can assists you with will be rare and vintage, suited for a museum not a film-set. This involves a certain risk, which means i will charge accordingly and expect you to be insured, uppon rental agreement i will provide you with an estimate of what compensation will be expected if the equipment is lost or damaged.
